ACE Travel Management appointed as ATG’S official UK network partner

ATG, one of the world’s fastest-growing travel management networks, has announced the appointment of ACE Travel Management (ACE) as its official U.K. partner.

ACE Travel was formed in 1992 and specializes in providing a comprehensive Business Travel Management service to the corporate sector in London and the South East through its offices in Brentwood, Essex and St James’, London.

ATG’s CEO Tammy Krings, stated: “ACE has been recognized as a stellar brand in the travel industry for nearly 30 years. They have built a large presence in the UK by reputation and engagement with strategic partnerships, while still maintaining their independent spirit, which is a critical success factor that runs throughout the ATG global network.”

Hans Trommel, Executive Director of ATG Worldwide, added: “ACE Travel’s agility and ability to manage big business with bespoke requirements, enhanced by integrating with ATG’s global technologies, gives us complete confidence as they serve our global and multinational clients with operations in the UK.”

The most remarkable achievement at ACE Travel Management is that it is solely owned by the company’s first employee, Sarah Wilson, who joined ACE in 1992 and succeeded to occupy the role of sole owner and CEO in September 2018, continuing and developing the ACE legacy. Their size and structure allows the team to adjust and implement new processes and systems rapidly.

“We joined the ATG family to establish ourselves as part of a truly global company but still provide the local expertise for which we are well known,” said Sarah. “ATG also shares the same vision and values we have as a business; from a desire to turn theoretical ideas into realistic and adaptable concepts, to having the understanding that every client is unique; the travellers are our priority.”

ACE Travel has been at the forefront of the continually developing landscape of the Business Travel Management sector. Sarah Wilson also occupies the role of deputy chair of the Institute of Directors special interest group for leisure and tourism in addition to actively contributing to the Continuity Forum and Risk Management committee development and release of the new ISO 31030 framework for Travel Risk Management.

In addition to serving ATG’s UK-based global clients, ACE will also serve ATG’s travellers based in Ireland.
