Judges announced for the APSCo Awards for Excellence

APSCo announces recruitment awards

The line-up has been announced for the judges of this year’s Awards for Excellence, ran by recruitment specialist APSCo.

Celebrating the outstanding achievements of those in the recruitment industry, the awards will be presented this October and will feature guest speaker and CEO of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Peter Cheese, who will discuss the current climate for recruiters as we enter a new political era.

With leading experts from across the industry, this year’s line-up will include NatWest’s Steve Solomon, Heather Melville, Rob Clowes and Jonathan Rouse, writer Lisa Gee, Simon Feeke from EY, Sohail Ahmad from Deloitte, Bluesky PR’s Tracey Barrett, Recruitment International’s David Head, Graham Palfery-Smith from 6CATS, Simon Kite from Saffery Champness and private consultant Mervyn Dinnen.

Introducing a new category for Best Client Initiative of the Year, APSCo wants to encourage those who have demonstrated innovation that can make a big change to their clients to come forward and be nominated by their peers. APSCo is looking forward to bringing back its awards for another year, believing it has become the forefront in recruitment recognition over the last 18 years.

“The annual event has become the premier showcase for innovation and best practice in professional recruitment, and are a great opportunity for firms to attract publicity and build their brand across the sector,” said Ann Swain, APSCo chief executive. “We are encouraging all of our members to enter, not only as a demonstration of their achievements but also their ongoing commitment to the professional standards that APSCo membership represents.”

The deadline for entry is July 6, and you can visit the website for more information.
