Victory Services Club celebrates 110 year anniversary

London’s Victory Service’s Club (VSC) has launched a campaign marking the venue’s 110 year anniversary. The campaign, VSC 110, will showcase the history of the private military members club, while looking into the site’s future in events.

Through the anniversary year, a series of initiatives will be exploring the core beliefs of value, service and courtesy. The key emphasis of the celebration will on service as the campaign launches by inviting event professionals to discuss past service expectations and how old fashioned values can influence the future of the events industry. The roundtable discussion will also look into the benefits of the personal touch, and how that has disappeared in more recent years.

Other initiatives are looking to examine what customer find the most important about services, and an end of the year dinner event for clients and members to come together in the event space. Offering seven rooms with a capacity of up to 300 people, the club is hoping the festivities will lead to more looking at the venue as a destination for conferences, meetings, exhibitions and award ceremonies. As a registered charity, the revenue from commercial events is re-invested into schemes to support injured members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

“It is a monumental milestone to be able to celebrate our 110th anniversary and it only felt appropriate to really celebrate this achievement,” said CEO of VSC, Air Commodore Nigel Beet CBE. “We pride ourselves on delivering first-class service and with the future of events ever changing we wanted to combine these two elements to create a number of educational events and content that our members, clients and event professionals can take part in.

“It is going to be an exciting and memorable year for us and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate in such spectacular fashion.”
