If you’re looking for a large conference venue in London, Barbican’s Hall or Theatre is an excellent choice, with a capacity for up to 1,943. Barbican’s on-site tech team are available to assist with all technical and equipment requirements to ensure you host a successful conference.

Within Barbican’s large events venue are multiple choices for meeting rooms. The Frobisher boardroom offers an airy and professional ambience for meetings up to 20, or if you’re looking for a large meeting room in London, the interconnecting Frobisher Rooms accommodate up to 32 in a boardroom layout or 170 in theatre style.

Barbican hosts many corporate events throughout the year due to its fantastic location and excellent facilities. One of the most popular spaces is the Conservatory, a large tropical oasis hidden away in the City, and the Garden Room, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Lakeside and City of London landscape. If you’re looking for a private events venue in central London, Barbican’s Conservatory, Conservatory Terrace, and Garden Room make a lovely combination for parties up to 650 in standing reception.

Frobisher Rooms

A suite of versatile modern conference rooms with capacity for up 170 in theatre style.

Given its rich history and striking architectural features, Barbican is hired frequently as a filming and photoshoot location. The venue benefits from a good lift, storage options, and beautiful settings to capture incredible footage and photographs.

Barbicanโ€™s City of London location means it has a variety of transport links. If you’re travelling by tube, the nearest stations are Barbican, Moorgate, and Farringdon, which are all under ten minutes’ walk away. For rail services, Liverpool Street is 11 minutes walk, and Farringdon is just 8 minutes. There are also car park options for Barbican for those travelling via car.
