Dynamite Event’s Top 5 Tips for Christmas party planning in 2022

Dynamite-Events-expert-Christmas-party-tips

Dynamite Events are experts in event and party management, from start to finish, and share their 5 top tips for a ensuring your Christmas party puts everyone in the festive mood and enjoy an event to remember.

The date

– In 2021 we saw many events being cancelled or postponed due to ‘you know what’ so, this year the date is key. Getting an early date for your party this Christmas will make sure that you are fighting fit before you go take the kids to see Nan and Grandad…

Time

Giving yourself enough time to plan is crucial. Venues and suppliers are in high demand right now with most on a ‘first come, first serve basis’ so if you have a large party to organise and a definite date in mind, get the venue booked – everything else can follow.

Don’t just think of yourself, think of all your guests

We’ve seen many organisers just booking what they enjoy and not thinking of the entire party. When it comes to food, drinks, entertainment or even location, it needs to be something that everyone can enjoy and be memorable for the right reasons.

Budget properly

Budgeting is key. It’s easy to get carried away with entertainment and book a well known DJ or fire breathing monkeys, but if there’s not enough money on the bar, or the food runs out after 5 minutes, guests will leave unhappy and that’s what they will remember..

Don’t try and do it all

There have been many occasions where we’ve spoken to clients after their party where they have attempted to do everything themselves and what we hear more often than not is that they spent the entire night dealing with problems: checking on the budget, running the guestlist and everything else that goes with party planning.

Dynamite Events closing words: “Our advice is to leave it to the experts and just enjoy the night – after all it’s your party too!”
