Europa International expands with new Accounts Handler

Event furniture hire specialist Europa International has announced the addition of experienced events industry specialist Shen Aril Salih to its account handling team.

Shen brings with her more than 10 years’ complimentary expertise in the music industry, during which she was dedicated to hiring out drum kits to major artists, concerts and festivals. 

Joining Europa with immediate effect she will act as a link between the firm and its customers – helping to understand client’s goals and ambitions whilst working closely with the wider accounts team to ensure the successful delivery of all orders.

Founded in 1961 Europa is a family-run business which specialises in delivering and installing furniture packages for the events industry in the United Kingdom and further afield.

The latest hire announcement comes amidst one of the firm’s most successful years to date.

Stephen Murphy, Europa International’s Senior Designer and Account Manager, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Shen who joins us in the role of Account Handler.

“Customer service isn’t a nice to have here at Europa, it’s a fundamental part of who we are as a team and what we offer our clients. 

“To that end, we are committed to continuing to invest in good, experienced account handlers who truly understand our industry and what it is that our customers want and need to ensure that, as we grow, our standards don’t slip.

Shen, who will be based in Europa’s London warehouse, said: “I am really bought into the ethos of Europa. It’s customer focus, and the general sense of fun and comradery both in the office and on jobs made me want to be a part of the team.

“I have spent years operating within the music industry and like to think I am in tune with some of the pressure points that event organisers will have to handle day-in-day-out. I hope I can alleviate some of that stress and help deliver on our clients’ ambitions whatever they may be.”
