The team attends many showcase events to promote Curzon for Private Hire and people are often surprised to hear that Curzon Cinemas can be used as a conference venue. The space lends itself to host Conferences, presentations, AGMS, Award Ceremonies and much more.

What are the benefits of a conference in a cinema over the standard hotel setting?
Cinema conferences cut down on extra costs such as furniture hire and AV hire as these are already in place. The big screen means presentation content is key and makes an impact on attendees. Presenters can easily get their message across to everyone as all our screens have tiered seating. We are able to offer similar events to hotels in a more engaging and impactful way.
Is this too big or small?
People often think cinemas will be either too big or too small a space for their requirements but we have a range of screens suitable for various capacity events. Our smallest screens are 28 seaters and the largest has 300 seats.
Can you also host receptions and event break out?
Most venues have full screen capacity break out space, alongside catering and fully licensed bars. We offer tea and coffee receptions at all venues and many venues have an in-house menu offering pizzas, light bites and lunch options. We also work with dedicated external caterers for any requirements outside of what we can provide.
Can I brand the venue?
One of the great things about Curzon is the branding we can offer alongside events. Clients can take over the quad posters cases, the digital screens and where we have them the canopy. So companies can really make the look and feel of the venue match their brand.
Will I need to make my presentation in a different way?
Not at all. Clients can bring along their standard PowerPoint or Keynote presentation and connect their Laptop to our projectors. We include technical rehearsals with all venue hires so clients have the peace of mind that it will all run smoothly on the day of the event.
