Fishmongers’ Hall sits on the north bank of the River Thames, adjacent to London Bridge. The venue benefits from close connections to all the main branches of TfL, the Thames Clipper Uber Boat service and has major National Rail stations within easy walking distance. When you step inside our Entrance Hall from London Bridge itself, the team at Fishmongers’ Hall welcomes guests into our Grade II* Listed Building. You will find an exquisite venue where elegant Greek Revival architecture and décor flow through every room.
Considering Fishmongers’ Hall for conferences: what are the event spaces like
Our First Floor hire offers three elegant spaces: the Court Drawing Room, the Court Dining Room and, the largest of the suite, the Banqueting Hall. These spaces work perfectly together and allow guests to flow from one area to another with purpose.
The Court Dining Room is an excellent networking area for refreshments and receptions for up to 150 guests. Restored in 2021, the room’s ambience is light and welcoming. Adorned with five chandeliers, ceiling-high mirrors and dark English oak wainscoting panels, this space has grace and beauty in abundance for you to enjoy.
The Court Drawing Room offers speakers a place to relax in privacy of their own lounge or organisers a green space that is centralised to the other rooms. This room lends itself to support specific activities, such as product launches, demonstrations, or TED talks.
Taken together, the Court Drawing and Dining Rooms are also exceptional breakout spaces, with large windows filling the rooms with natural light and boasting stunning views of the Hall’s enviable riverside location. Furniture can be arranged to support any activities you have in mind.

The jewel of the building, the stunning Banqueting Hall with its original vaulted ceiling, is ideal for hosting a conference in any of our varied layout options: from 250 theatre-style seating or over 100 seated cabaret-style. We pride ourselves on offering as much flexibility and support to your event to help you achieve your goals, so please just let our team know your vision so we can plan for success together.
From early 2026, this grand and traditional room will receive a new state-of-the-art projector and screen. This modern technology set against the fabulous surroundings will create an impressive setting for your guests.
