Socially conscious gifting: The Clink Bakery’s Easter treats make it easy

There is still time to get your Easter orders in to treat your teams and family! For this Easter, The Clink Bakery has launched two new seasonal products: Crème Egg Brownies and Mini Egg Cookies, handmade by students at HMP Brixton. Purchasing treats from Clink is socially conscious gifting at Easter that everyone will appreciate…

Buy through Catered by Clink

Available to purchase through the Catered by Clink website, the new Easter range is ideal for individual customers, staff gifting, corporate orders and wholesale purchase.

As with all Clink Bakery products, the new range combines high-quality baking with meaningful social impact. Every order helps support people in prison to gain practical skills, training and work experience, building confidence and creating pathways towards a more positive future beyond the prison gates.

Socially conscious gifting at Easter is an easy way to give back

For businesses, the Easter products offer a socially conscious purchasing option — whether as gifts for staff, treats for clients or products to stock more widely.

About The Clink Bakery at HMP Brixton

Operating inside HMP Brixton, the Clink Bakery provides our students with industry-relevant skills and recognised qualifications. What makes The Clink Bakery so special is that it provides a rare and vital therapeutic environment in an otherwise highly pressurised prison context.

In 2025, we were particularly proud of the launch of our letterbox brownies, which have proven very popular. In addition, over the Christmas period, the Bakery produced 165 Christmas puddings, 200 hampers and 12,000 mince pies. Finally, our students were given the task of producing a bespoke celebration cake for HRH The Princess Royal.

In 2025 Clink Bakery provided great support

  • 13,122 training hours delivered.
  • 37 students trained.
  • 43 City & Guilds qualifications achieved.
  • 1,929 internal prison orders fulfilled.

About The Clink Charity

Founded in 2009, The Clink Charity’s mission is to reduce reoffending, which we do through training and intensively supporting people in and leaving prisons for careers in hospitality, food production and horticulture.

We operate a restaurant open to the public, and an award-winning artisanal bakery, both at HMP Brixton. We also have two therapeutic horticulture training programmes at HMP Send and HMP Erlestoke and Clink Events. And that’s not all – we also have a premium social enterprise caterer serving some of London’s most famous venues. The food is created by our students in HMP Downview women’s prison in Surrey and our production kitchen in Herne Hill, South London.

We also operate The Clink Training Café in South London – a community-based prevention initiative for young people who could be at risk of entering the justice system.

By providing education and training, and through supporting people into employment post release, we reduce reoffending. In 2025 we trained almost 400 people and delivered 420 NVQ qualifications. Clink Events catered for 239 events, fed 42,255 people and provided over 22,050 training hours for our students.

Apprenticeships with any organisation are in huge demand and there are not enough opportunities for applicants. The requirements for employers are set out clearly here.
