The ultimate #GirlDinner trend is now on the table at The Refinery Bankside by Drake & Morgan (Southwark) with a gourmet sharing menu for spring. Available from lunchtime, enjoy four plates – including Caesar salad, piri piri chicken skewers, wild mushroom arancini, and feta & olive mezze – paired with a Grey Goose mini martini.

Award-winning chef Dayashankar Sharma brings contemporary Indian comfort cooking to the south coast with the opening of BAUJI in Worthing, which officially launched end of March. Just a short stroll from the seafront, the restaurant serves dishes inspired by Sharma’s childhood in Rajasthan – from punchy Desi Handi Murgh and Konkani Fish Tikka to slow-cooked Lal Maas – alongside Heritage Dulwich favourites. With a 45-cover dining room, warm, earthy interiors, and a drinks menu designed to complement spice-led dishes, BAUJI offers a relaxed neighbourhood bistro experience.
Sopwell House
Sopwell House is turning back the clock for its 40th anniversary with two nostalgic new menus. The Brasserie’s à la carte offering features classic dishes of steak tartare, crab and prawn cocktail, beef stroganoff, and crème caramel, while over at the Octagon Bar, Head Bartender Adam Jobson has crafted decade-defining cocktails with a modern twist, from a peach vodka Sex on the Beach to a strawberry infused Aperol Spritz.

Spring has sprung, and up above the clouds at Bōkan 37, brunch is reaching new heights. Available every Saturday, ease into the weekend with seasonal dishes, free-flowing drinks, and panoramic views of the city below. Executive Chef Robert Manea’s three-course menu features indulgent plates from truffle scrambled eggs to Wagyu burgers, plus decadent desserts and artisan cheeses.
