24 hours in Reading; get the hang of meetings and event spaces on your doorstep

As a PA Life Club member you are warmly invited to Reading Venues Showcase. Meet Reading would like to invite you to experience what Reading can offer as a venue for your business events.

Date: Thursday 10th and Friday 11th September 2026

• The FAM Trip commences at Novotel Reading at 5:30pm
• Finish: at 4pm on 11 September

About the event & what’s included 

You will be coming to Reading at an exciting time and will see a lot in just 24 hours.

Thursday 10 September

5:30-7:30pm – Novotel Reading:

You will be joining us for the Reading Venues Showcase on Thursday 10 September, where over 20 Reading meetings and social activity venues will be showcasing their offer to a business audience. You will have the chance to chat to them all, enter 20 great competitions and sample lots of lovely food and drink. 

That evening, you will be staying at one of our lovely town centre hotels, just a few minutes’ walk from Reading Station. You can check in to your town centre hotel beforehand – the Novotel is only a maximum 5 minute walk from your hotel or immediately afterwards.

8:00pm – dinner at the Malmaison Hotel

Hosted jointly by Meet Reading and the Malmaison Hotel. 

Friday 11 September

9:00 – showround of the hotel you are staying in

10:15 – Holiday Inn Reading South – coffee, showround plus introduction to local events company TAG Events (and sample indoor group activity)

11:30 – Hilton Reading showround and lunch in the Hilton’s OXBO Restaurant

13:00 – Green Park Conference Centre showround + outdoor sample group activity with local events company Hi5

14:30 – De Vere Wokefield Estate showround ending with Afternoon Tea

16:00 –  return to hotels to collect bags and depart
