At the border of Marylebone and Fitzrovia, a new chapter in the history of Wogan House is being written by Landmark…

Once home to the BBC, the building is now set to host a premium flexible workspace, designed to meet the demands of today’s professionals. Landmark Space has brought new life into this legendary address, offering a workspace that is both aesthetically captivating and functionally modern. For those seeking to build their legacy in a place steeped in cultural history, Wogan House is the perfect setting.

A blend of history and renewal

Originally built from 1935-1936, the building was originally named Western House and in 1953 it became the home of the BBC. It served various uses, including housing the engineering designs department, the recorded sound effects library, and broadcasting station. In the 60s, it even housed a car showroom on the ground floor! More recently, the building held many program teams and staff from BBC Radio 2.

Sir Terry Wogan was a beloved Irish-British broadcaster and in the year of his passing, Western House was renamed after him in 2016. Wogan House is a Landmark. The building is due to open late November 2024 and Landmark Space’s new interior design was inspired by 1960s recording studios, it promises to reflect the heritage of its past while embracing the future of flexible workspaces. Landmark Space incorporates wellness amenities, premium offices and buzzy coworking space, which will cater to the dynamic needs of contemporary professionals.
