Viva Esprit design and deliver perfectly tailored stand-out events and their choice of venue certainly stood out! Hosted by Michael Cloke Director of Sales at The Grove in Hertfordshire, the impeccable 5 Star Grade II listed mansion, where luxury facilities and an exquisite mix of old meets new. The Grove is a venue rich in grandeur, making you feel like royalty, and your guests will leave feeling in awe of the experience they’ve had. There are plenty of activities on offer, including golf, archery, outdoor pool, hot air balloon rides, Discovery Dynamic Drive and a fantastic spa. The Grove is an idyllic luxury country retreat with everything you could want and more ad conveniently located just outside of London in Watford.
PA Life Club enjoyed an exceptional event with Viva Esprit at The Grove
Viva Esprit pride themselves on exceptional hospitality and really made everyone of our PA Life Club members feel valued and inspired. It is hard not to feel inspired after being in their company. The saying ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’ is so evident in seeing husband and wife Managing Director duo Paul & Nadine Fenton living their dream and producing first class exceptional events all around the world.
Paul welcomed us with an informative welcome speech at the outdoor Everyman cinema experience. A delicious al fresco lunch followed at Skewd, an award-winning Turkish restaurant, bringing Anatolian cuisine to excite the taste buds. What a great start to our 24- hour visit.
After lunch it was time to put some of the many activities on offer to test at the outdoor activity centre. We loved the excitement of axe throwing and archery, both great team activities that let our competitive spirit to shine too. We also had a chance to experience the Discovery Dynamic Drive on Land Rovers, great fun, testing your nerves at times.
The bedrooms at The Grove
Our luxury bedrooms were in the stunning boutique rooms in the West Wing. After freshening up after the activities it was time to have a go at cocktail making in a masterclass run by Ryan in the Ivory Suite. We also enjoyed a tour of the conference and events spaces hosted by their Director of Events Katharina Lehmann. The Grove has a range of 16 flexible event spaces offering inspiring and relaxing packages, with many of their spaces also having garden access. Seeing all the spaces it was evident that The Grove is an excellent choice for corporate events.
We then made our way to the beautiful Glasshouse restaurant where we experienced one of the finest buffets we’ve had. That’s a bold statement but you’d agree after you taste your way around the selection of live-action food stations, showcasing the very best international cuisine. Just be sure to bring your appetite!
