JOIN THE PA LIFE CLUB MENTORING PROGRAMME

We took this decision as we want to bring the multitude benefits of the PA Life Club to as many Assistants as possible. But we also wanted to introduce a dedicated Mentorship Programme that brings together some of the most experienced members of the community with those who are maybe new to the Club (and their work), and are looking for guidance and advice – both on their everyday work, but also on their long-term career paths.

THE MENTORING PROGRAMME IS SIMPLE

PA Life will invite its Club community to take part as either Mentors or Mentees.

Based on experience of Mentors, and the advice required by Mentees, we will match them and introduce them.

We would hope that Mentors and Mentees will meet at least once a month for a lunchbreak video call (or meet in person if located near each other).

WHY MENTORSHIP MATTERS

At a very basic level, creating new connections is important for us all – that’s been at the very heart of the PA Life Club since we launched over 10 years ago.

Mentees, who may be in the early stages of their career journeys, will benefit from the experience of Mentors, building their confidence and personal development.

For Mentors, this is an opportunity to share the knowledge they have built up over the years and to help nurture the next generation of Senior Assistants. It can also give them the chance to learn about new ways of working and new technologies.
