PA Life FAM Trip enjoyed Hawksmoor Wood Wharf Private Dining Room

On September 10th, the PA Life Club members got to experience a FAM Trip to Hawksmoor Wood Wharf Private Dining Room – The Queenie Watt, situated on their mezzanine level at The Hawksmoor Wood Wharf.

Hawksmoor showcased their beautiful Group & Private Dining room, beautifully lit, creating such a lovely atmosphere for our evening event.  The long, oval table was very sociable, making it easy for us to share all of the sensational dishes that arrived. The night began with a glass of wonderful prosecco on arrival, picked by Leena, our host from the Hawksmoor event team. We were able to have Hawksmoor’s very own blend of red wine, and a house favourite, prosecco, loved by many of their guests.

As soon as we were seated for dinner the starters arrived. Our first course included a smoked mackerel salad and seasonal vegetable salad. including mackerel and garden vegetables, which were incredibly fresh and crisp. We also enjoyed Yorkshire puddings and onion gravy, with potted beef that melted in your mouth.

The star of the Private Dining menu was the tender cuts of grass-fed steak

The star of the show included three separate cuts of 35 dry-aged grass-fed rump, sirloin, and rib eye. Paired perfectly with beef dripping chunky chips, the creamiest spinach and gravy infused mashed potato.  Throughout the evening, the lovely Sales & Events Manager, Leena, kept us company. Leena shared any information our PA’s were looking for, as well as all of the ins and outs of the restaurant and exceptional food quality. We ended the night with some chocolate Rolos that Leena informed us to be the owners childhood favourite treat. Which they had reconstructed to be a rich, quality chocolate.
