PA Life and our Club members enjoyed an exceptional evening at The HAC, one of the 51 members who are part of the Venues of Excellence collection of independent venue partners.ย
Venues of Excellence (VOE) put on a fantastic FAM Trip for PA Life on March 5th, together with 18 of their member venues. Over 30 of our Club member EAs and PAs took part in conversations with the VOE member venue representatives who had travelled to The HAC in the City of London from all over the UK.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the VOE team and welcomed by delicious mocktails and glasses of bubbly. A perfect way to start the networking evening. The attendees then made their way into the Prince Consort Rooms where the venue representatives were stationed and ready to get to know the EA and PA guests.
The VOE team had included a fun passport activity, giving all guest a chance to win fantastic and very generous prizes, donated by the participating venue. The passport worked really well as a great conversation starter, ensuring every venue got to meet each guest and had a chance to tell them a little about their venue, plus answer any questions.

The event was run very professionally by the VOE and The HAC teams and we all appreciated the super delicious canapes and bowl food, as well as the gorgeous cocktails, mocktails and wine we were served.
The historic HAC comprises of three individual venues: Armoury House, Prince Consort Rooms and the Artillery Garden.ย Steeped in history and located in the heart of the City, The HAC offers a unique venue to conference and event organisers.
The FAM Trip was a rare opportunity for an exclusive experience of this unique and historic venue.

The evening culminated to an informative address by the CEO of Venues of Excellence, Mandy Jennings. Mandy also gave a hand in drawing the exciting prizes out of a hat, or a drink cooler in this case, keeping the guests in suspense. And what fabulous prizes there were too! These included stays for two at the amazing VEO member venues, dinners and bottles of gin and champagne.

The HAC is situated in the heart of the City of London, the HAC has spaces that can accommodate a wide variety of events. From conferences, weddings and team-building days for larger crowds to intimate dinners and board meetings for just a handful of guests. Our historic venue is both versatile and unique. Within our grounds we have three distinct areas:โฏArmoury House, a beautiful Georgian manor house with six rooms full of character and period features; theโฏArtillery Garden, five acres of lush, green lawns; and theโฏPrince Consort Rooms, a large, contemporary space with its own entrance and summer terrace.
Our range of spaces in Armoury House are ideal for elegant private events such as dinners, drinks receptions and parties and also well suited to corporate conferences and meetings that desire a unique setting with modern AV facilities. With elegant heritage rooms holding up to 150 seated or 250 standing in our larger room. The Prince Consort Rooms is the HACโs largest and most versatile space with a capacity of 400 seated and up to 700 standing.
Converted from the Regimentโs former drill hall, the stunning room boasts a dedicated entrance โ via a pretty courtyard โ an adjoining outdoor terrace and a separate registration area. The space itself has an impressive vaulted ceiling, painted brick walls and level access flooring throughout. Great for conferences, weddings, awards ceremonies, parties and dinners. The layout of the room gives organisers an interconnecting space, perfect as a reception and catering space. The contemporary yet neutral feel of the dรฉcor means the space can be transformed into anything from a Hawaiian luau to a Winter Wonderland. The Prince Consort Rooms also comes with an adjoining room tucked away near the main entrance which makes a perfect organiserโs office or green room.
The jewel in our crown is the Artillery Garden, our five-acre outdoor event space in central London, home to prestigious events such as London Concours since its launch in 2017. The Garden has hosted Premier League and Championship football teams as well as Saracens, the All Blacks and Barbarians rugby teams on the venueโs pristine sports pitches. The spotless, green lawns of the Artillery Garden provide solace from the hustle and bustle of the city combined with the atmospheric appeal of live, large-scale outdoor events, which makes the Artillery Garden a unique venue for outdoor events in London.
Great for outdoor parties, celebrations or team building events, sports matches and weddings. With five-acres of space, the Artillery Garden is one of the largest outdoor party venues in London with capacity and functionality for even the wildest event briefs.
I attach our 3-D tour for you to visit the venue virtually โ please click on the โPCR Entranceโ, then continue through โPCR Courtyardโ, enter the building and go left to โPCR โ reception areaโ, which will be you registration area. Then you will see West Albert Room on your right. West Albert will be your catering space where you can have your bar and catering station if applicable. As you walk ahead, you will then see large wooden sliding doors leasing to the main exhibition space called East Albert Room.
