A corporate retreat at Glen Dye, is truly a memorable experience. Tailor-made for your team, accommodating between 2 and 60 people, from half days out of the office to entire weeks away from HQ.
Nestled in the heart of 15,000 acres of ancient forest and moorland, miles and miles of tracks, rivers, burns, lakes and lochs. Glen Dye truly is a Highland paradise.
Any walk from your front door takes in views, or summits, of the iconic and often photographed Clachnaben, one of the areas’ most famous smaller mountains on account of the massive granite tor that watches over Glen Dye.
We have several perfect spaces, of various sizes, for meetings, parties or hanging out, including the smallest pub in Scotland.
The Woodshed
The Woodshed comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests, seated, with a professional kitchen, separate bar and toilet and shower facilities.
Outside, there’s room for exceptional outdoor cooking displays. Inside, the space can transform from communal long table dining, to private cinema, to yoga studio, to live music stage and beyond.
The Library
An excellent place to host hands-on workshops, whatever the weather. For smaller groups, the scale of the room is ideal for a single long table communal dinner. And, as the name suggests, it’s a comfortable and cosy place to hang out, with a few good books, all year round.
The Glen Dye Arms
Our very own BYOB pub, complete with roaring log fire, ancient bar and well-stocked record player. In this beautiful building we can arrange whisky or wine or cheese tastings. Or bring your own favourites and settle in for good stories and great company.
It may be small, but our pub also makes for an excellent and informal team lunch setting.
The Smiddy
A vibrant, sunshine-yellow-floored breakout and games space.
The Smiddy, complete with large wood-burning stove, ping pong table, comfortable sofas, big tables and huge boombox is a great place to unwind following a workshop, dinner or action-packed day spent in The Great Outdoors.
The Seed Store
A once basic structure has been refurbished and reimaged as a new home of exceptional food.
During the days the red-domed-roof cabin is a comfortable hangout space, full of good books and games and music. By night it can transform into a supper club location beneath the pines, with guests dining around one central table with food coming direct from the fire.
The Discovery & Adventure Centre
Home to a range of exciting bushcraft courses, games and short taster sessions for all!
The central hub marks the start of our mile-long Adventure Trail, and beside our occasional high end restaurant, The Seed Store, you’ll find warm changing rooms for our wood-fired sauna (plus cold dips tanks for the brave).
The River Cabin
You’ll find everything you need to spend hours mucking around, wild swimming and cooking, including a wood burning stove and a Big Green Egg (possibly the best barbecue in the world, we think) in floodlit woodland.
On the banks of the Dye you’ll have private access to a Swedish wood-fired hot tub and, for smaller groups, the space itself can host cosy lunches and dinners.
Delivering great experiences is a core part of our ‘why’. So we run a Discovery & Adventure Centre of wild wellness, bushcraft, heritage craft, nature and food that offers everything from guided river swims to foraging and nights under the stars.
Nature
Surrounded by wilderness, experiences based in nature our hugely popular at Glen Dye and include fire lighting skills, axe throwing, forest bathing, mountain biking, wild swimming and sauna sessions.
Food & Drink
Glen Dye co-founder Caroline Gladstone was Global Project Manager for the late, great Bill Granger across his world-spanning restaurants. So we know our stuff here. Choose expert-led whisky tastings, feasts from the fire, pop-up restaurant experiences, cocktail masterclasses, venison butchery workshops and exceptional private dining.
Creative
We’re a creative team at our core here in the glen, and we’re proud to know a number of excellent local artists and makers to lead workshops in: flower arranging, cuttlefish casting, willow weaving, wreath making and fine art.
Every detail at Glen Dye has been deeply considered, from the art to the Swedish wood-fired hot tubs at every property, to the vintage furniture and perfect bed linen. Life in the glen is one of quiet luxury where everything is well-designed and built to last.
With 10 super comfortable properties, we can host up to 60 guests on site for a remarkable experience within the Scottish Highlands.
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
