1. APOTHECARY EAST LAUNCHES SAKURA HIGHBALL BRUNCH

East London Izakaya bar and restaurant Apothecary East (www.apothecaryeast.co.uk) is launched a new seasonal Sakura Highball Brunch on Friday 7^th April.

The new brunch menu celebrates the Japanese tradition of outdoor parties and picnics under Sakura trees during cherry blossom season along with the Izakaya favourite of Highball (Haibōru ハイボール) cocktails, perfect for sipping and pairing with food.

Priced at £35.00 per person, the Sakura Highball Brunch menu will be served on Saturdays throughout April and May. The menu will also be available to preview on Bank Holiday Friday, 7^th April.

Diners can choose to order their highballs individually or go with the option of bottomless Highballs, Prosecco and Bloody Marys for £27.50 per person.

Apothecary East offers a range of dining areas for parties of all sizes and guests can enjoy brunch with friends in the Dining Room, on a High Table or in the Bar. The indulgent brunch menu features a selection of the restaurant’s most popular signature dishes.

Located on Charlotte Road, Apothecary East is a short walk from Old Street, Liverpool Street & Shoreditch High Street stations. The restaurant accommodates over 100 covers and whilst walk-in drinkers and diners are welcome, booking for the Sakura Highball Brunch is highly recommended.

Apothecary East’s Sakura Highball Brunch is available to book on Saturdays from 12pm to 2.30pm. Guests will have tables for 2 hours and free flowing drinks will be served for 1.5 hours.

2. M THREADNEEDLE STREET’S BRAND NEW TOKYO BRUNCH

Another great Japanese brunch comes to town, launching Saturday 13th May.

A love letter to the world’s largest metropolis, M Threadneedle Street is bringing a bottomless brunch like no other to London with the launch of Toyko Brunch. Nestled beneath the cherry blossom trees, expect free flowing cocktails and indulgent Japanese inspired dishes every Saturday from 13th May.
Get into the weekend spirit with 90 minutes of unlimited and carefully curated cocktails; from the classics to oriental serves including a Plum Highball, Japanese Garden and Yuzu Meringue, plus low and no-options from CleanCo.

There are menu options available to suit all budgets, each including 75 minutes of Bottomless Prosecco with the addition of the new Chandon Spritz from Moet and Hennessy and expertly mixed Cocktail selection. Dependent on the package, guests can choose from a Brunch Menu or the menu of Modern Classics. Brunch highlights modern classics include smoky Pulled Ham Benedict on crusted sourdough and Hot Smoked Salmon Royale and Mama’s Classic Fish n’ Chips.

Mama’s Sunday Lunch

Mama’s much-loved Sunday Roast menu is back with a bang! Guests can book in between 11:30pm and 4:30pm and with the return of the so loved beef Wellington. Diners enjoy the finest traditional roast dinners with all the trimmings; a selection of steamed and roasted vegetables; crispy roast potatoes.

Karaoke at Mama’s

Also drawing in a weekend crowd, is Mama’s new Disco, Superhero and Carnival themed Karaoke booths. Mama Shelter London Shoreditch has kitted out its karaoke rooms with all the necessary props and playlists to fit the chosen theme. Guests can expect ring lights and phone holders for the ultimate superstar selfie! Then it’s time to battle it out with up to 15 friends and family in one of two soundproofed Karaoke rooms. Booths can be booked directly via Mama Shelter or on OpenTable at a cost of £20.00 per person.
