Festive feasts & celebratory Sake Bombs at Apothecary East in Shoreditch

Just in time to for the festive season, Apothecary East in Shoreditch –  the East London Izakaya-inspired bar and restaurant, has created seasonal Modern Japanese group Feasting Menus and is also introducing London party goers to the Sake Bomb ritual!

Festive Fizz-akaya Fun

Guests are invited to kick start their evening Sake Bomb style with a shot of sake carefully balanced on chopsticks over a glass of beer. An ‘ichi. ni. san!’ countdown is followed by fist slams on the table and shots dropping into the beer below. Pink cider and alcohol-free options are also available, so everyone can get in on the Sake Bomb action!

In the spirit of Christmas, parties for 12 or more booked by 17^th November can enjoy a complimentary round of Sake Bombs or Prosecco courtesy of the Apothecary East team. Kanpai!

Izakaya Feasts

New Feasting Menus at Apothecary East feature signature favourites, including moreish Miso Aubergine and Kakuni BBQ Pork Belly alongside festive specials such as Winter Sprout Shiozuke and Christmas Karaage with a Chilli Cranberry Mayo. Miso Toffee Pudding Bites offer the perfect sweet treat to finish. Feast menus are available from mid-November through to Christmas, with prices from £35.00 to £65.00 per head and the option to add Wagyu Bavette for a premium touch.

Group and Event Bookings

Apothecary East is the perfect Shoreditch venue for Christmas lunch, dinner or exclusive hire with a difference, whether that’s for work or with family and friends. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse with a dedicated cocktail bar, the restaurant accommodates over 130 covers and parties of all sizes with a choice of semi-private areas. Groups can also book the private dining room downstairs which accommodates up to 22 seated guests or up to 35 for standing receptions.
