PA Life Club: what an amazing Meet Up we had at Trinity House

We were very impressed and so honoured to be hosted at the beautiful Trinity House for our PA Life Club members Meet Up on the 25th of May.

The Meet Up was hugely popular and very oversubscribed. We were able to invite 35 of our Club members (and sadly needed to leave an equal number on the waiting list still) to enjoy a tour of the immaculately preserved reception and dining rooms that are available as part of the house hire – yes you get to enjoy all of the stunning rooms as part of your event or meeting booking and you don’t have to share the venue with an other client.

On our arrival we were welcomed by the expert events team of Natasha Jackson, Zoe Turner and Karen Luard at a Champagne reception before being decided into smaller groups for a tour of the building. The rooms are beutifully preserved and decorated with priceless art, such as original portraits of Henry XIII and his daughter Elizabeth I, and historic memorabilia such as the original MH Yacht Britannia bell which I must add was rang quite a few times by us.

Trinity House dates back to 1796 and houses the London headquarters of the charity dedicated to safeguarding shipping and seafarers, providing education, support and welfare to the seafaring community with a statutory duty as a General Lighthouse Authority to deliver a reliable, efficient and cost-effective aids to navigation service for the benefit and safety of all mariners.

Rebuilt after the Second World War, its beautifully-appointed rooms have hosted royalty, mariners, prime ministers, scientists and visitors from all over the world and houses many fine paintings, models and treasures.

The evening was really enjoyed by all the Club members who had plenty of questions to ask and were keenly discussing different options and events they could host at Trinity House, not only for their local teams and clients but also for any overseas visitors who would be stunned by the venue, location and the views over Tower of London as well.
