Only 45 minutes from central London, the award-winning countryside hotel is inviting families for a seasonal escape with an overnight stay, breakfast and a host of autumnal activities for all ages to enjoy. Guests can pick and carve their very own pumpkin from nearby Cammas Hall’s spectacular patch, then return to the comfort of a newly renovated Estate Family Room – complete with built-in bunk beds, a Nintendo Switch, and robes and slippers for all – to enjoy hot chocolate making and Halloween-themed craft kits.

Whilst staying at Down Hall, families are also encouraged to explore the sprawling estate grounds where the changing autumn leaves create the perfect backdrop for outdoor activities. From tennis, badminton and padel courts, giant chess boards and a dedicated children’s playground, to mapped woodland walks and a Trim Trail with balance beams and monkey bars, adventure and play is at the heart of every half term stay.

The Pumpkin Patch Staycation is bookable between 17th – 19th October and 21st – 31st October from £269 (based on two adults and two children).
