Niklas Ekstedt’s World-Famous Flambadou Oyster at Ekstedt At The Yard

Check out Westminster for oyster season and head to Ekstedt at The Yard for the open-fire Scandinavian restaurant ‘s signature dish: the Flambadou Oyster by Swedish Michelin-starred chef Niklas Ekstedt. Flame-kissed and infused with rich, smoky flavour, it’s prepared using the traditional flambadou technique – basted in molten beef fat using a red-hot cone and finished with a silky beurre blanc sauce. Served as part of the restaurant’s immersive tasting menus (from £59), diners are invited into the kitchen to watch the magic happen over the open fire.
