AGIITO RELEASE LIVE AVAILABILITY TECHNOLOGY TO ROYAL MAIL GROUP

Industry leaders, Agiito, have taken the next steps to offer meeting bookers live availability technology by rolling this functionality out with their customer, Royal Mail Group.

Agiito announced in August that they were launching their live availability solution for their meetings and events customers. This enables bookers to view rates and venue availability in real-time, before submitting their enquiry – all through their proprietary technology, Meetingspro.

After assessing their customers’ booking profiles, and recognising this technology aligned to Royal Mail Group’s booking patterns, Agiito approached Royal Mail Group to pilot the new functionality; they jumped at the chance as they could see the benefits for their stakeholders.

Agiito’s customers are already seeing benefits of the live availability technology

“Our customers are already seeing the benefits of the online tool, with 19,000 online bookings made so far this year and 50% of October’s enquiries submitted online – demonstrating that Meetingspro is becoming more popular for small meetings. This means our dedicated offline Venue Finding team can focus their expertise on completing more complex bookings and giving our customers the choice so they get the best service possible.

“The benefits extend further to the wider industry, as this is market leading technology. We have much more in the pipeline to release over the coming months, and we are working with suppliers and industry bodies to align the process as we move into this new era of venue find booking.”

The live availability pilot with Royal Mail Group begins in November, with other customers piloting this technology in the pipeline.
