Over some 20 plus years, Quatreus has created and delivered a vast range of exhibitions and events for corporate clients โ three of which are particularly memorable as representing the benefits of thinking outside the box.
Three examples of delivering events with fresh thinking
1. Promoting Trade Show & Exhibitions
The first was a show for exhibitors to promote their web applications โ and a client who wanted to emphasise their hassleโfree approach in a way that would stand out at the busy and crowded expo.
Our solution was to create a beach scene complete with real sand, table & chair sets and free ice cream!ย As the ideal respite from wall-to-wall technology and hard sales pitches, the beach island provided the perfect environment for meaningful engagement.
2. AGMs
In addition to the usual institutional stakeholders, many individual shareholders were also due to attend – and our client was keen that they too could experience the difference the technology was making within a relevant context.
To achieve this, Quatreus designed & built a space where the visitors could explore and experience some of the innovations made possible by high speed broadband in the home, at work, and on the move โ as well as showcasing the companiesโ apprenticeship scheme.
The feature included a living room and kidsโ bedroom, a retail space, and a small section of a train carriage with a live โvideoโ window to enhance the experience .. all of which gave the shareholders a unique insight into our clientโs brand & services within familiar settings.
3. Corporate Events
Lastly – the corporate merger and a brief to bring 150 senior personnel from two previously competing businesses with disparate corporate cultures together into a single, cohesive group with a single vision.
With everyone gathered for what they imagined would probably be a typically uninspiring corporate evening, a simple welcome exercise โinadvertentlyโ created four mixed teams .. that were then taught to sing in harmony.ย Having achieved the goal โ proving they could collectively work together, food was served school style at long tables & benches followed by a version of Quidditch to wrap the event up.
Include a chance for attendees to experience the difference in your corporate event
So next time youโre given a box of space to work with, try thinking outside it .. and beyond the typical reception, screenโbased demos, soft seating and complex messaging.
