Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is the latest Hyatt branded 5-star hotel in central London, featuring 205 rooms and suites, housed in a Grade II listed building on the former grounds of King Henry VIIIโs Bridewell Palace.
The 5-star hotel on a former Henry VIII site is a great location for business and leisure
A prime spot in Londonโs business and leisure district, the interiors have been intuitively designed by THDP Ltd with an environment for guests to work, engage or relax. The design has been influenced by its local history, with the buildingโs past life as one of King Henry VIIIโs royal palaces, referenced in materials such as marble ceramics and gold finishes. With Fleet Street just around the corner, the hotelโs design also pays homage to the iconic printing presses and the craftsmanship of printing and publishing, through bespoke artwork on the walls, inspired by newspapers.
The hotel features beautiful, contemporary finishes, in guestrooms and suites specifically, which span up to 70mยฒ. Guests can also enjoy spectacular views of the listed buildings that once held the historic printing presses. Accompanying the views, premium in-room amenities include dedicated workspaces and rainfall showers.
Great dining options at Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars
Outside of guestrooms, three food and beverage concepts and a lobby lounge are open to guests. The Chinese Cricket Club offers a contemporary take on Chinese classics, named in honour of Shanghaiโs cricket team captain, Feng, who travelled to London in 1857 with his wife Xiu. Arriving in Blackfriars docks, the couple made their way to Limehouse, where Xiu opened the first traditional Chinese restaurant in London. Their legacy lives on in the inviting backdrop of The Chinese Cricket Club and its rich and diverse menu of homemade dim sum and signature specialties such as Smoked Peking Duck, Royal Har Gow and Golden Fish Gow. A semi-private dining area is available.
New York meets London at neighbourhood-style bistro NYnLON, with an all-day menu influenced by the two cities. The menu showcases local and sustainable dining, with elevated comfort food favourites such as Glazed Short Rib, Black Angus Beef Burger and Baked New York Cheesecake, accompanied by an extensive drinks list showcasing authentic American whiskies and natural wines.
The Leaf and Cane is a 1920s Latin American inspired hideaway offering street food, signature handcrafted cocktails and premium rums, drawing on the flavours of Latin America. Bringing the lively flavours of Latin America to central London, The Leaf and Cane immerses guests in a colourful jungle, inviting them to uncover innovative mixology, a vibrant atmosphere and its hidden garden, featuring secret stone vaults that were once used as cells in the original womenโs prison.
