Leading TMC, Clarity, has announced a major evolution of its award‑winning technology portfolio, which will enable its travel technology (ClarityGo) and its meetings technology (MeetingsPro) to seamlessly connect – transforming how organisations plan, book and manage travel and meetings…
This new convergence will bring together two of Clarity’s market‑leading platforms to create a single, end‑to‑end experience that allows PAs and EAs to book meetings with travel included, all within one connected ecosystem.
Managing meetings and travel together with ClarityGo and MeetingsPro
With over 2 million trips booked through ClarityGo and thousands of meetings arranged in MeetingsPro every year, Clarity saw the opportunity to bring them together in one connected platform where data flows seamlessly end-to-end.
“Historically, meetings and business travel have been planned and managed through separate systems, which often results in creating unnecessary cost, duplicated effort, and a disjointed experience for travellers and organisers,” explained Carl Law, Clarity’s Chief Technology Officer.
“By converging the two systems, our latest innovation will address this head‑on and connects meetings and travel at the point of booking in a unified and data‑driven experience. This will result in a step‑change in visibility, efficiency and control which removes traditional silos between travel and meetings management.”
Bringing clarity for EAs, PAs and other meetings organisers
Meeting organisers can now see the full picture from the outset, supporting their budgeting and duty of care considerations. Other departments, like Finance, CSR and HR, will also benefit from consolidated reporting and management information, so the impact will be felt business wide.
“We have been thinking about the potential for this convergence for several years, speaking with customers and colleagues to understand how we adapt to evolving business needs in a way that works for them and build a platform for the future that is better positioned for regulatory pressures and reporting requirements,” Carl continued.
“We are now embarking on this journey of convergence, with the two systems co-existing currently so users can easily move between them. I’m excited to see the impact this will have and the difference this will make to the way our customers and consultants book.”
