Hundreds of acres of outdoor space
Pavilions of Harrogate and the Yorkshire Event Centre (YEC) have a wealth of experience in hosting conferences and team building events that require outdoor space. In 2023 Pavilions of Harrogate was the location for an event for a global company which specialise in creating and delivering high-performance technology. This diverse space was used to host their conference during the day, and in the evening the lawns were transformed into a mini festival for their delegates to enjoy. The following year, they expanded the event and opted to host it at our sister venue, the Yorkshire Event Centre.
2024 also saw a new corporate event at the YEC; a staff engagement day with a national engineering and construction firm. Over 2,000 delegates attended the Showground over 2 days with workshops ranging from product demonstrations to business updates alongside an evening networking event with over 1000 attendees.
The Great Yorkshire Showground has flexible spaces to suit all sizes
The Great Yorkshire Showground is a location with endless opportunities. No matter how big or small your event is, we have the space to accommodate you.
Pavilions of Harrogate is the ideal choice for smaller events and can host up to 500 delegates. A short walk away is the YEC, which is perfect for events for up to 2,500 seated or 5,000 general visitors. Alongside these two fantastic venues, you can also use our 250-acre showground for any outdoor activities to support your event objectives.
Thousands of free parking spaces
One of the many benefits of the Great Yorkshire Showground is the number of parking spaces available โ there are thousands of free parking spaces on both grass and hard standing. We host the Great Yorkshire Show every year which sees 140,000 visitors flock to the Showground with many requiring parking. We have ample parking for your attendees including several EV charging stations.
Locally sourced produce from our award-winning Yorkshire caterers
There are various catering options available when you book an event on the Great Yorkshire Showground. Both Pavilions of Harrogate and the Yorkshire Event Centre work with some of Yorkshireโs finest chefs who regularly provide a variety of tantalising menus from breakfasts to buffets and afternoon tea to 3-course meals. We understand that every event that takes place at our venues is different, therefore we will provide you with a bespoke menu that is as unique as you are. All produce is locally sourced, minimizing food miles whilst providing you with the best of Yorkshireโs food and drink.
Pavilions of Harrogate and the YEC are award-winning venues that have been hosting events for both business and the wider public for many years. Our wealth of experience and extensive knowledge ensures every event that takes place on the Great Yorkshire Showground is a success. Both venues are owned by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society (YAS) and all profits go back to YAS, a registered charity helping to support and develop an environment where farming, food and the countryside thrives and grows.
