Located just 30 minutes outside of London, Ashridge House is an award-winning venue perfect for hosting every event type; from conferences and team retreats to product launches and corporate parties.
Ashridge House was originally a monastery and became a royal residence for both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I in 1539. Later, as a private house, British and foreign royalty, prime ministers and the most famous writers and artists of the day were all entertained here. During both World Wars, the house was a military hospital. Next came a ladies’ finishing school and world-class business school.
Ashridge House is the perfect environment to learn, reflect and to be inspired
All the rooms in the main house have a traditional, stately home feel, with feature fireplaces and grand windows overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens. A series of modern developments and sympathetic restorations of older buildings have provided the flexibility to host a wide spectrum of events in over 50 rooms.
With over 190 bedrooms, our rooms and lodges offer a calm overnight escape just next to the main house, with a short walk through our beautifully landscaped gardens.
Conference spaces and meeting rooms are equipped with AV Technology to make sure you can stay connected throughout your conference, whether that is with screens, speakers, or microphones. We also have Limitless Learning in some of our rooms, making it easier to host hybrid meetings across multiple locations.
Academics and speakers available for your events
We also have access to world-renowned academics and speakers through Hult International Business school, who operate their executive programs out of the house, which means we have experts to call on no matter the focus for your conference.
Our rooms and lodges offer a calm overnight escape within a short walk from the main house via our grade II listed gardens.
If you are looking for a more relaxed time away for your team, then there are miles of jogging and cycling routes, along with free bike hire, or take a gentle walk around the grounds and surrounding woodland. You will also have full access to the on-site gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool which hold a host of different classes.
Dedicated event coordinators will ensure your event is a success
It takes more than a room and a beautiful view to make a successful conference/event. That is why we have dedicated event coordinators who will be there before, during and after your event to ensure that it is all plain sailing, and to make sure you feel confident. Our coordinators can also help you organise a team building session on our grounds such as giant crystal maze, or duck herding!
