PA Life interviewed Katrin Waidacher, Sales Manager at The July Hotel London Victoria. Katrin works with corporate clients, agencies, and long-stay partners to create flexible, design-led stays combining apartment comfort with hotel energy. The July currently operates in London and Amsterdam, with Dublin opening in late 2026 and Lisbon in early 2027.

The July Hotel has smartly designed Studio Apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, rainforest shower, dreamy king-size bed and all the comforts you crave. Or for larger groups their offer suits including a three-bedroom Harrington Apartment is a stylish, long-term rental with a private entrance, equipped kitchen and everything you need to feel at home.
How do you create that โhome away from homeโ feeling for both short-stay and extended-stay guests?
At The July, everything is designed around comfort, flexibility, and independence. Our apartments all have fully equipped kitchens, super king-size beds, and space to both relax and work. Guests can settle in quickly, whether theyโre staying a few nights or a few months, while still enjoying hotel-style services, wellness facilities, and a social atmosphere that never feels impersonal.
What types of teams benefit most from hosting away-days or off-sites at The July?
Weโre particularly well suited to creative, tech, fashion, consulting, and professional services teams who want something more inspiring than a traditional meeting venue. Teams who value design, wellbeing, and flexibility really benefit from our mix of meeting space, apartments, and social areas โ it allows them to work, connect, and recharge all in one place.
Can you talk us through the meeting and co-working spaces available for corporate use?
We offer bookable meeting rooms for focused sessions, alongside a beautifully designed co-working space thatโs ideal for more informal collaboration. Our dedicated meeting area consists of three smaller rooms, each accommodating up to 8 guests boardroom-style or 12 in a theatre setup. These rooms can also be combined to create one larger, versatile space.
The meeting area has its own pantry and lobby, which also makes it ideal for networking events of up to 50 people. Everything is supported by high-speed Wi-Fi, HD screens and projection, natural light, colourful Art Deco design, and easy access to food and drinks.
How does catering at The Idler support corporate meetings without feeling overly formal?
The Idler is relaxed, flexible, and very human โ which translates perfectly into corporate catering. Instead of rigid set menus, we focus on quality food that feels approachable: great coffee, seasonal dishes, sharing plates, and simple refreshments. It keeps meetings energised and social, without that overly corporate or conference-style feeling.
What does The Idler offer, and what are your favourite bits about it?
The Idler is our restaurant, bar, and deli โ itโs the social heart of The July. I love how it works throughout the day: coffee meetings in the morning, relaxed lunches, after-work drinks, or casual team dinners. It brings guests and locals together and gives the building a real sense of life and community. The July Hotel is where apartment living meets boutique luxury, and can certainly help you out for any kind of booking.
