PA Life Club members get cooking at Jenius Social

A small group of PA Life Club members met with the PA Life team at Jenius Social last week to experience a taster of the cookery team-building activities on offer.

The team worked together to create a selection of delectable Brazilian street foods as a sample of one of the team-building packages available at Jenius Social. Dishes included bacalhau (Brazilian fishcakes), empadinhas (a scrumptious eggy quiche with a pastry base), spicy prawn and chicken skewers, chunky cassava chips and quinoa salad with mango and avocado.

We were welcomed to the venue, which is situated just around the corner from Holloway Road tube station, with a refreshing glass of prosecco to break the ice while we learned about the different classes on offer. Then we put on our aprons, rolled up our sleeves and got stuck in making what would become our lunch. With everyone chipping in under the expert tutelage of Head Chef Andrew, we managed to make all six dishes in under two hours, leaving us plenty of time to enjoy the results of our hard work – of course with a lovely glass of wine. To round out the day, we were all emailed the recipes so we can recreate the experience at home.
