IAAF World Championships Exclusive Hospitality celebrates 60 years of sporting moments

The IAAF World Championships Exclusive Hospitality are looking back through their favourite British sporting moments over the past 60 years to celebrate the World Championships coming to London for the first time ever this summer.

Digging deep through the archives, the team have listed iconic sporting moments alongside recently uncovered, little-known moments on British soil to highlight the excitement of witnessing international champions on home turf. Finding historical landmarks that sparked an emotional response from the crowd, the list includes the likes of Boris Becker’s Wimbledon win at 17 years old, to the joint winners of the first London Marathon – joining hands as they crossed the finish line.
