Venue of the Week: Churchill War Rooms

Take visitors on a trip beneath London

Taking guests beneath the City of Westminster through a series of interconnected tunnels, the Churchill War Rooms are an opportunity to invite clients on a journey through history.

The secret underground bunker was used as the nerve centre of British leadership by Prime Minister Winston Churchill during World War II, and visitors are now given the opportunity to explore, wine and dine in the very same rooms where the War was won.

Built to withstand the bombing from German forces, many of the rooms have maintained their original design and historical accuracy, but other rooms have been given a modern update for conferences and corporate/private hire. The rooms are on offer for daytime and evening events, and include an auditorium that can seat up to 120.

Hosted by the Lime Venue Portfolio, which believes in connecting a range of venues through a passion for good food, the location is ideal for anything from drinks receptions to team-building. Catered by Levy UK, PA Life Club members will be able to take a trip underground, take a sip on the complementary wine and taste the food on offer.

Taking place between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday 29 January, take a step back in time with the PA Life team, and get an insight into the inner workings of one of the countryโ€™s most inspiring venues!
