Turn your intuitive coaching skills into a recognised qualification

Your coaching skills develop as you progress through your career as a PA โ€“ they seem to go hand in hand with being indispensable – but what about turning them into a qualification?

โ€œPAs are drawn to formalise their intuitive coaching skills for a number of reasons,โ€ said The Coach House founder and master executive coach, Helen Tiffany.

โ€œPAs are a critical link in the executive decision making process.” The ability to listen, unpack and challenge is an essential part of their role. Formal coach training introduces new ways to do this, as well as additional tools and insights that make their jobs easier.

โ€œAnd PAs find themselves selecting coaches for bosses and other executives, so they benefit from being able to talk the coach/coachee language.โ€

The Coach House accredited six month programme is designed to fit around a full time, demanding job.

The application deadline for The Coach House October 2018 start date is fast approaching and PA Life readers funding their own places will qualify for a 5% discount on the individual programme cost.

The London-based Coach House programme includes 60 hours of face-to-face learning, two hour personal coaching supervision and is accredited by the Association for Coaching โ€“ the largest UK professional coaching body.

As well as its public coach training course, The Coach House offers one-to-one coaching at senior and executive level and runs in-house coach training programmes for leading UK brands and businesses.

Tiffany said: โ€œThis gives our training a 360-degree perspective thatโ€™s particularly useful for those looking to take formalised coaching skills back into their existing role.โ€
