The Meetings Show, Business Travel Show and Travel Technology Europe acquired by Northstar

Centaur Media Travel and Meetings, which owns The Meetings Show, Business Travel Show and Travel Technology Europe, is to be acquired by Northstar Travel Group.

In a statement, Northstar said the deal is expected to be finalised at the end of April 2019, with the entire Centaur Travel and Meetings team expected to join Northstar.

“The addition of Centaur’s travel and meetings exhibitions to our global portfolio of 80 events in 13 countries fits perfectly with our strategy to expand our event segment with the UK’s leading portfolio of travel shows,” said Northstar Travel Group Chairman and CEO Thomas Kemp. “We are excited to add David Chapple and his team of travel event professionals to the Northstar team.”
