Butlin’s Conference & Events has invested more than £200 million on facilities across its three coastal resorts, including significant investments in their AV technology, setting what it calls a new precedence for UK venues.

Equipped with Q spot equipment and the award-winning Clay Paky B-eye lighting used for the Super Bowl half time show, Butlin’s Conference & Events provides event planners and delegates with all the AV they need included as part of a booking, providing a saving of up to £10,000.

Butlin’s says that with the AV technology onsite and all under one roof, companies can experience considerable cost savings. As well as the equipment itself, there are also expert technician teams on hand at all times to ensure all events run smoothly.

At Bognor Regis’ Centre Stage, event planners will find the venue equipped with the latest lighting technology including Robe ColorSpot 1200E AT (moving head spot), Robe ColorWash 1200E AT (moving head wash), Moving LED, Ledj RGB Spectra Batten, Source 4, Par64, and Rainbow 8” Pro Scrollers, providing a saving of up to £3,730 on lighting alone compared to bringing in their own AV equipment.

Centre Stages’ sound equipment is equally state-of-the-art and offers further savings. Centre Stage has a FOH PA system already in place, saving £1,225 per day; as well as FOH Outboard, FOH Playback, Monitors, Wired Mics, Radio Mics and additional technology including EMO passive single DI box, EMO passive double DI box, BSS AR133 active DI box, Behringer 6 way rack DI box and mic stands, offering a potential saving of £4,169 in total for all audio.

Furthermore, video and production equipment includes the likes of Remote PTZ camera Sony BRC-300, PC computer, Blade video servers, DVD player, Vision Mixer Sony Anycast, Switcher (VGA) Kramer VP-8×8, Panasonic front projection and Panasonic 50” Plasma screen.
