First speakers confirmed for our Academic Venue Solutions Showcase 2020 Meet Up

The first speakers have been confirmed for our Meet Up networking event at Academic Venue Solutions Showcase 2020 on Thursday 26th March.

Join us at Senate House to network with over 30 of the UK’s best academic venues to host your meetings, conferences, events and unique occasions. For every type of event, #itsacademic.

The first speakers to be confirmed are:

• Heather Lishman, Association Director, ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers)
• Dr Rob Davidson, Managing Director, MICE Knowledge – ‘Harness the 5 senses to make events more productive and engaging’
• Verity and Alison Curryer, IMC Prosolutions – ‘Creating a social buzz’

Academic Venues Solutions is an association for Academic Venues throughout the UK, which has 50 member venues. One thing that makes academic venues so different to the competition, is the diversity of the types of venues, all in one location. Universities are often spread across huge rural campus’ or city centres and might have their original 19^th century teaching building, located right next to a newly built lecture complex with breakout and refreshment spaces.

This is the only networking event dedicated to Academic Venues, so it is a great opportunity to network with exhibitors, alongside bespoke workshops about industry trends, delegate wellbeing and conferencing in the future, and includes refreshments and lunch.
