Recruitment specialist Glassdoor has released its list of the 25 Best Jobs in the UK for 2016. While personal assistant came in last place, it can still be considered a win because the rankings are based on number of job openings, salary and career opportunities.
At number 25, the role of personal assistant carries an average base salary of £28,000, according to Glassdoor research. At the time of publishing, there were 962 job openings and it had a career opportunity rating of 3.7 out five. The overall job score, which takes all of these factors into account, is 3.4.The number one job is business development manager, with a base salary of £40,000 and a job score of 4.3. Recruitment holds the middle of the pack, with managers and consultants scoring 3.9 overall.
