PA Forum announces online learning and development conference

PA Forumย has announced its Learning and Development Conference 2020 for executive support professionals worldwide.

Now in its third year, the educational event will take place virtually for the first time on September 29th, welcoming personal, executive, and virtual assistants, as well as business support professionals and office managers, for a day of learning.

Lucy Brazier, one of the worldโ€™s leading authorities on the administrative profession, will host the conference and will be joined by a line-up of fellow experts, who will each deliver insightful talks and seminars covering a range of industry topics, including:

  • Skills to position an assistant as an influential leader
  • Advanced strategies to skyrocket your productivity using Microsoft Outlook
  • An insight into office management
  • Benefitting from change in light of recent economic and global challenges

Tickets for the conference are ยฃ30 and attendees will have the option to watch the whole event and interact with the attendees and speakers via the interactive chat box, or to log in and out of specific sessions they would like to watch throughout the day. They will have access to catch up on the whole day or individual sessions for up to one week after the event and all attendees will receive an IAM certificate to add to their CPD portfolio.

Daniel Skermer, founder PA Forum, said:ย โ€œWe have all endured unprecedented challenges in 2020 as a result of COVID-19, and we wanted to ensure we could continue with our much anticipated annual conference and support administrative professionals throughout these tough times by bringing the event to them virtually.

โ€œTaking the event online means we can welcome delegates from all around the world, and we are over the moon to be joined by Lucy Brazier for the third year in a row who will be our host for the day and deliver two powerful keynote sessions. We canโ€™t wait to welcome listeners for a fantastic day of learning, sharing best practice and supporting each other and the industry.โ€

Lucy Brazier added:ย โ€œI am honoured to haveย been invited back to the PA Forum Learning and Development Conference for the third year running, not only to present but to emcee.

โ€œWith the world changing so fast for PAs, and particularly during this time of COVID, personal development and training have never been more important. Executives need to be operating at warp speed so they can futureproof their businesses and take care of their staff. They need assistants to free up their time to do this like never before. An upskilled assistant is a must in order to achieve this and the programme at the Learning and Development Conference goes a long way to addressing the current training needs to get an assistant up to speed.โ€
