EXECSec set to be scene of stimulating debate

This yearโ€™s EXECSec Summit not only promises to deliver a fascinating seminar line-up alongside the tried and tested formula of pre-scheduled appointments with suppliers, it will also present a 45-minute debate on the future of the PA role. Entitled โ€œThe PA profession โ€“ where now?โ€, the debate will be chaired by PA Life Editor Colette Doyle who will discuss such topics as home working, developments in technology, the importance of networking and the use of social media.

Colette will be joined by a panel of familiar faces, including Castalia Coaching founder Susie Barron-Stubley, EA to the Chief Executive of Salford City College Adam Fidler, trainer and author Sue France and the President of the Association of Celebrity Assistants, Deborah Shaw.

Taking place on the second and final day of the summit, Tuesday 1 April, the debate will look at a broad spectrum of issues affecting management assistants, including communication techniques, working for more than one executive and moving up the corporate ladder.
