CHECKING IN: RAI Fitzrovia launches limited edition #CookForUkraine menu

As the devastating impact of the war in Ukraine continues to flood the news, we are all looking for ways in which we can help those in need. Newly opened RAI in Fitzrovia will be showing its support for the #CookForUkraine campaign by donating all proceeds from a specially created limited edition four-course menu to UNICEF UK from March 16^th March to April 9^th .

Curated by Executive Chef Padam Raj Rai, the charity menu fuses the highest quality Japanese ingredients with the finest produce from the UK and around the world. Kicking off with snacks of homemade tofu and Amaebi prawn, the menu features a selection of RAI’s most exquisite dishes including new style seared butterfish sashimi with red jalapeno sauce; Chilean seabass with goat’s cheese, broccoli purée and homemade tsukemono sauce; and Scottish salmon tartare with yuzu miso, crispy leek, British pear and 60 months aged Organic Parmigiano Reggiano. Finish with a perfectly balanced dessert of pumpkin, umeshu and coconut ice cream and a selection of petit fours.

The special menu is priced at £59pp, and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the campaign. The menu is available across lunch and dinner, Wednesdays to Saturdays, from March 16^th to April 9^th (excluding Mother’s Day weekend), and must be pre-booked via: https://rairestaurant.com/reservations/
