PA Life Club members enjoyed a fantastic afternoon and evening of magical entertainment on August 18th.Β 30 of our Club members attended the Meet Up to watch the original production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre in Londonβs West End.
Huge thanks go to the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child London teamΒ behind the Meet Up, which also included a fantastic three-course dinner at a great Soho institution thatβs Sophieβs Steakhouse.
The play is performed as two separate shows, both two and a half hours long. Part One of the play started at 2pm and finished around 4:30, allowing us ample time to walk to the nearby Sophieβs Steakhouse where we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco, followed by a delicious dinner. Sophieβs doesnβt just serve great steaksβ many in our party opted for other choices including tasty vegan dishes. The dΓ©cor of this very spacious restaurant is contemporary, with a glass-walled private dining room at the back, so you donβt feel cut off the buzzing atmosphere. There is also a rather grand bar greeting you as you arrive.
The Part Two started at 7pm. The timings worked well for us with no need to rush our meal either.
What was Harry Potter and the Cursed Child like?
Whether you are a Harry Potter fan or not, a child or a grandparent, you are likely to be swept into the story and fantastic performances from the start. The cast was perfect, just what I envisaged as a parent whoβs seen all the Harry Potter films, and the super special effects were jaw-droppingβ or was it magic? The show is a perfect day out for friends, family and colleagues and we all agreed that both Parts were thoroughly entertaining and kept us in suspense till the end.
Whether youβre looking to wow clients, incentivise or motivate the team, give prospective business partners a magical moment theyβll never forget or simply organise the best work day out youβve ever organised, look no further thanΒ Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. With excellent seats, great group rates and VIP options available with the ability to entertain pre-show and between Parts One and Two,Β Harry Potter and the Cursed ChildΒ is the ultimate West End Theatre experience. Now, the worldβs most Award-Winning Play is a preferred partner of PA Life.
