The PA Life Club Meet Up to the world-famous Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 7th was one of the highlights of our busy autumn. And we’ve only just kicked the season off!
The wonderful events team at the stadium – Alex, Adam and Brittany – welcomed our Club members on a very warm afternoon at the East Atrium, one of the Stratus hospitality entrances. We were treated to chilled smoothies and water ahead of the activity filled two hours before being split into groups. Some of us headed first to the stadium roof to experience the thrills of the Dare Skywalk. The visit for the rest of us started with a stadium tour.

The Stadium Tour
The Stadium tour is a good hour and a half with a fair bit of walking to take in the many different areas and spaces of this vast venue. Our guide was Brittany who shared fascinating stories and history of the stadium whilst we toured the venue so we barely noticed the steps we clocked up. We were able to see the large public areas including the Market Place and the Beavertown micro brewery and pub that are buzzing on match days, and used for conferences and large scale events in between matches. The stadium hosts NFL too, who can also call Tottenham their London home. The player areas and the hospitality lounges, restaurants and bars are very versatile and suit most event needs from more intimate dinners to large events, and would be sure to impress your execs, clients and colleagues.

The DARE Skywalk
Almost everyone wanted to take part in the skywalk which is limited to groups of maximum 15. We received a thorough safety briefing and were kitted up in sturdy harnesses ahead of the first climb of 100 steps. It was a steep ramp up from there to reach the roof which is partially glass so you can see the pitch and seating below you. The 360 views over London skyline are stunning, taking in famous landmarks miles away. We were lucky to able to enjoy a beautiful sunset as well. The scariest part for most of us was going around the Golden Cockerel which is pretty large up close – all of 4.5 metres tall.
The experience was definitely worth the pre-climb nerves. Even if you are not fond of heights you’ll still love the thrill and a feeling of achievement once you are back on the ground.
The new electric F1 Drive Attraction to open later this year
The massively popular Meet Up was attended by 25 Club members. We hope to be invited back to the stadium in the future, especially as there will be an exciting addition to their activity packages. Before the year end we hope to have confirmation of the opening on an electric F1 karting track, currently under construction underneath the stadium. More details of the launch and packages will be released soon.
What where the event spaces like?
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a world-class venue. Everything is designed and finished to the highest standard. Corporate hospitality, team building days, meetings, conferences and party, what ever the size of your event you will receive VIP treatment by the team.
We ended our day on the highest hospitality floor, West Stratus on Level 9. A perfect place to wind down over a drink whilst enjoying amazing views over the pitch. The space was spectacular, and so was the catering too. A variety of mouth watering dishes, freshly prepared by the kitchen team, awaited us at our private reception. We had a chance to network with other Club members and the Stadium events team. I’d like to add a special mention to the excellent bar staff and the quality of wine and prosecco they served us at the reception.
