PA Life Club members were treated to a wonderful evening by premium sports hospitality specialists, STH Group UK, at the stylish The Pier Bar at Bateaux London by Embankment pier. The bar is floating on the River Thames, but stationary, and has the best views of the South Bank, especially when watching a stunning sunset as we were lucky to do.

On arrival to our Meet Up on 4th of April, the STH Group’s team, including the group’s Chairman and CEO Chris John, greeted us with fizz and wine and made everyone feel welcome. A delicious selection of canapes were served whilst our members enjoyed the all important opportunity to catch up with their peers over informal networking and the chance to get to know the STH team.

Angus Brown, Head of Sales and Business Development, gave us a good overview of the kind of sports events and tournaments STH Group covers as a hospitality provider. We were so excited to have the Tokyo 2020 Olympic torch on display during the evening. Naturally it proved a not-to-be-missed photo opportunity for us – it’s not everyday you get a chance to get this close to such iconic memorabilia of world-class sport.
