116 Pall Mall are pulling out all the stops to celebrate the Queenโs Platinum Jubilee just down the road from Buckingham Palace in true quintessential British style with a number of exciting events and offers over May and June.
Jubilee afternoon tea โ 28 May โ 25 June
With a series of treats and savouries inspired by Her Majesty’s favourites, enjoy beetroot cured salmon, a Coronation chicken rillette with rye tuille and a selection of sandwiches. On to the sweets, with Searcys signature Victoria sponge alongside a fruity Dundee cake, strawberry and vanilla Union Jack Battenberg in Union Jack colours and a chocolate, cherry and pistachio delice โ playing on Her Majestyโs love of chocolate.
Join 116 and toast with a glass of Searcys English Sparkling Wine at ยฃ49 per guest. The Jubilee afternoon tea will run every Saturday from the 28 May – 25 June, with additional daily sessions between the 3 – 10 June over the Jubilee weekend.

The Champagne Bar will also be open over the Jubilee weekend from the 2 June โ 4 June, serving up an array of champagnes, delicious cocktails and snacks from Searcys.

Join the author,ย Ameer Kotecha, for a celebration of British food and drink, with canapรฉs and flowing English Sparkling wine. Featuring a collection of dishes and stories from Her Majestyโs representatives around the world, the book is foreworded by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and brings together recipes โ many of them served during Royal Visits, anecdotes and stunning photography.
Ameer will be on hand to reveal diplomatic dinner party anecdotes through the years – the good, the bad and the highly entertaining – and provide contemporary stories of food being used as a potent diplomatic tool.
100% of royalties from sales of the book are being donated to charity, split equally betweenย The Queen’s Commonwealth Trustย andย The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund.

Dine on dishes straight from the pages of โA Royal Cookbookโ, at 116 Pall Mall with an exclusive dinner hosted by previous Deputy Master to The Queen, Edward Griffiths CVO. ย Spending 14 years working within the Royal household, managing the hospitality in the palaces, Edward is a co-author of the first Royal Cookbook along with Royal Chef Mark Flanagan. Edward will lead a talk and a three-course dinner of dishes from The Royal Cookbook. Expect the likes of aย Rack of Suffolk lamb with asparagus, new potatoes, lamb jus and sauce Paloiseย andย Sable Breton with English strawberries and lemon cream.
