IN PICTURES: PA Life Club Meet Up at HMS Belfast, with Lime Venue Portfolio

PA Life readers gathered for a Meet Up networking event earlier this week on board the historic HMS Belfast on the Thames.

The Second World War Royal Navy battleship, part of Lime Venue Portfolio, is moored next to the iconic Tower Bridge.

As the last surviving example of 20th century Royal Navy warships, she is a truly unique venue for meetings, conferences, summer parties, Christmas parties… every type of event.

The PA Life Club Meet Up at HMS Belfast began in spectacular fashion as guests watched nearby Tower Bridge open to let a cruise ship through.

Readers were taken to the Morgan Giles networking room, where everyone gathered with a glass of wine and Lime Venue Portfolio’s Key Account Director Julia Simpson gave a welcome speech.

From there, tours were conducted in groups of 10 around two levels of the ship, encompassing the infirmary, dental surgery, sail makers workshop, kitchens and bunks.

The tours concluded on the upper deck and everyone reconvened in the Morgan Giles room for some more networking, canapรฉs and a delicious choice of trout and potatoes, chicken Caesar salad, feta cheese & watermelon and cream strawberry biscuits.

This was a great PA Life Meet Up networking event in a unique space that takes visitors back in time.

Plus, congratulations to the two winners of the photo competition on the night! The top prize was a one night stay for up to 2 people with breakfast at a Venues Collection location, with the runner up receiving a bottle of wine.
