Applications now open for Story Events’ #StoryGivesBack initiative

Story Events has opened applications for its #StoryGivesBack CSR initiative, where new and small event suppliers are able to apply for a free stand at the London Summer Event Show.

Taking place from January 22 to 23, 2019, at Banking Hall in London, over 800 event buyers and exhibitorsย will be brought together to network and showcase their services.

Next yearโ€™s event marks the fifth edition of the show, and since its inception back in 2017, the #StoryGivesBack initiative has helped small, start-up event suppliers present their offerings and services to over 3,000 event buyers.

โ€œSince launching the initiative we have helped over 15 small event suppliers increase their presence in the event market,โ€ said Clare McAndrew, show director at Story Events.

โ€œItโ€™s a great way to give back to the industry we know and love, while at the same time adding fresh and exciting content to the show for our visitors.โ€

Winner of #StoryGivesBack 2018, Chris Wooldridge from Fluffy Puffin, added: โ€œWeโ€™re now a recommended and listed entertainment supplier with Thames Luxury Charters, and gained five pieces of corporate business off the back of the Show.

โ€œ#StoryGivesBack puts you in direct contact with some very influential event organisers, giving you a platform to grow in the events market.โ€

If you are a small or new event supplier, get in contact with Grace Turner on grace@storyevents.co.uk before September 1, 2018, for your chance to be considered.

A vote will then be released to the show visitors towards the end of this year to decide the final four suppliers.
