Bath boosts business with new corporate booking service

The city of Bath has been given a big boost to its MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences and Events) offering, with the launch of a new enquiry handling and booking service.

Known as the Bath Venue Finder, the online service allows corporate event organisers to search for a choice of venues in the area that meet their specific requirements.

Provided by local venue finding agency, Brief2Event, the dedicated team aims to provide an efficient service to help organisers choose the right venue.

“Visit Bath and its Steering Group of local venues recognised the need to provide such a service to support event organisers,” said Gaynor Thomas, business tourism coordinator at Visit Bath.

“Previously organisers had to contact individual businesses to seek availability – we are now offering a central service which is geared up to address their needs. As a result of the new service we expect to see growth in the Business Tourism sector.”

Following the launch, Bath Tourism hopes to attract more corporate events from the MICE market both in the UK and overseas.

Thanks to its heritage and contemporary facilities, the city offers many options for corporate events including the Roman Baths, the Assembly Rooms, Bath Racecourse and many more.
