Bear Grylls Survival Academy – ultimate team building

Looking for something different? Try this!

Driven by the demand for ‘out of the box’ team-building experiences, the Bear Grylls Survival Academy delivers unique survival experiences, designed to bring out the best in teams as they are placed in survival scenarios and made to work together to reach rescue.

Is it too physical? Anything “Bear Grylls” might be perceived to be physically demanding and only suited to the active and adventurous. This can be the case if requested, but for most Ultimate Teambuilding experiences, it’s quite the opposite. The events are designed to capture full participation, despite age or ability, while challenging participants to push themselves.Teamwork. Bear founded the survival academy to inspire, motivate and empower people by learning dynamic new skills and achieving as a team.

Incorporating the core skills of modern day teamwork, including leadership, communication, trust and lateral thinking, the Ultimate Teambuilding events get groups active outside, being put to the test with a series of survival challenges – Bear Grylls style!

Something for everyone. Different event levels are available.

Grit factor 1 is designed for the average corporate delegate. These comfortably sit alongside any conference or meeting as a half or full-day experience. Activities range from knot tying, fire lighting, shelter building and creating rescue signals to stretcher races and Land Rover rescues – all based around a real-life survival scenario.

Grit factor 2 steps it up a gear, with the addition of commando crawls, Tyrolean traverses and high ropes courses.

Grit factor 3 gets extreme. These are held in dynamic wilderness terrains like Dartmoor, Snowdonia and the Scottish Highlands, where comfort zones will certainly be compromised!

Any place, anywhere, anytime. Venues are available across the UK. The BGSA team works in partnership with various hotels and conference centres, where the experiences are available within one hour of London.

Don’t just take our word for it! This is going to be the team-building event to look out for in 2016. Among the many clients who have already taken up the BGSA challenge are Microsoft, KFC, Arcadis and Discovery. The team is available to meet in person to expand on course options and offer a mini demonstration.
