Butlin’s puts nutrition centre stage for conferences 2020

Butlinโ€™s Conferences & Events is entering the new year with a focus on nutrition, having relaunched its conference menus around wellbeing and nutrition to include brain food as opposed to more traditional fare food.ย

The company says nutrition is important to corporate partners with increasing awareness and focus on wellbeing of business travellers.

Butlinโ€™s offers a variety of restaurants serving wholesome food at its three seaside resorts, and says so much choice is now on offer that even the fussiest of eaters will be satisfied.

Breakfast at all resorts features healthy options such as cereal, yoghurts, fruit, toast, omelettes, as well as unlimited juice, tea and coffee. For lunch, the newly opened Pub & Kitchen at Bognor Regis and Skegness showcases superfood salads, healthy burgers and Sunday Roasts.

Alternatively, Skegnessโ€™ Ludoโ€™s Italian showcases healthy pastas and Mineheadโ€™s The Diner features build-your-own burgers and tacos. Notably, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options have been added to all three resorts, with Bognor Regis and Skegness adding vegan meat alternatives from plant-based brand Oumph and The Diner at Minehead also offering plant-based options and gluten-free burger buns.ย

Butlin’s says the new healthy additions are part of its multi-million-dollar investment in its resorts, having spent more thanย ยฃ200 million on facilities, including AV technology, accommodation and innovative amenities.

Last year also saw the opening of a ยฃ40 million pool at the Bognor Regis resort, which also showcases Butlinโ€™s continued focus on wellbeing for its business travellers.
