Capita Travel and Events wins position on Public Sector Travel and Venue Solutions agreement

Capita Travel and Events has been awarded a position on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Commercial Agreement for Public Sector Travel and Venue Solutions.

The firm is one of three suppliers to be awarded a place on Solution 4 of the Commercial Agreement, following a rigorous evaluation and selection process.

Solution 4 provides central government, wider public sector and third sector organisations with access to a fully managed, online and offline travel services covering UK and international rail, accommodation and air.

“The Commercial Agreement allows customers to appoint service providers without having to repeat the expense of tenders, with the assurance that Capita Travel and Events could meet the highest service standards and deliver excellent value for money,” said James Parkhouse, CEO of Capita Travel and Events.

With a smarter working approach, it changes the ways people think about planning travel to look after their own well-being, control organisational costs and support productivity. The new Commercial Agreement provides a quick and efficient route to market to reduce procurement process costs for eligible customers.

Public sector organisations selecting Capita Travel and Events from the agreement will benefit from the organisation’s Smarter Working approach, which harnesses data insights and behavioural science to improve organisational savings and employee well being.
